Minor Surgery
Minor Surgery
At Levitas Clinic Surrey we offer treatment for a variety of skin conditions using our state-of-the-art equipment — from electrosurgery for common lesions to traditional minor surgery for lumps and bumps.
Electrosurgery
Electrosurgery is one option we offer, providing patients experiencing troublesome skin conditions with pleasing cosmetic results. The Hyfrecator acts like an electronic beam that specifically targets problem areas and works well for a wide range of skin conditions.
Seborrheic Keratoses and Other Conditions
Seborrheic keratoses — dark, scaly marks that tend to develop as we age — are one of the most common cosmetic concerns amongst adults, and are treated particularly well with electrosurgery. Other skin concerns that are well treated with electrosurgery include:
- Warts
- Molluscum Contagiosum – viral lesions swiftly treated using electrosurgery
- Acrochordon – skin tags that can be irritating if in awkward places
- Capillary Angiomas – small red blood vessels or spots
- Actinic Keratoses – precancerous areas often occurring on the scalp or forehead, well suited to electrosurgery due to the good cosmetic result it achieves
Traditional Minor Surgery
Where appropriate, we also offer traditional minor surgery for lumps and bumps in our purpose-built minor operation suites.
